The laboratory consists of three areas, namely Firmware Extraction & Splicing Area, 5G Mobile Communications Operating Area, and IoT Terminal Testing Area, which offers students various environments to study the IIoT modules. Furthermore, a classroom IoT monitoring system is equipped to allow students to experience the actual IoT system.

The Centre provides most advanced teaching facilities, which is equipped with professional hardware and system platforms. The 7m x 2m LED wall facilities visualization and interaction with the virtual cyber world for real-time experiments and training.

The Centre allows students to interact with virtual and cyber world status in real-time. Moreover, it allows a wide range of teaching and learning activities such as scene simulation, network attack and defense, network invasion and maintenance, competition, research, testing and practice. The cyber range of HKCT has also achieved cyber range interconnection with other three cyber ranges from Mainland.

HKCT has dedicated resources to build different indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including a fitness room with professional fitness training equipment, a full-mirror Dancing & Fitness Studio and a standard basketball court. Students studying sports-related programmes can improve their personal athleticism and become professional fitness coaches. These recreation and sports facilities are also open to HKCT students in general to encourage them to maintain physical and mental health, strengthen students' sense of belonging.

e-Sports Lab is a professional training room equipped with industry-standard facilities such as well-equipped gaming computers and professional gaming chairs, which are ideal for individual and group practices as well as competitions and e-sports events.

The e-sport programme of HKCT aims to train up students' event organising skills and team spirit. Graduates can pursue further study from a wide spectrum of programme choices including event planning, audiovisual editing, broadcasting, live commentators, computer studies, etc. The course is attracting many students who do not like traditional learning, this programme can enhance their motivation and interest in learning before finding out their ideal academic pathway ahead.

Mock-up Cabin is modelled on the training cabins of major airlines which include Economy Class and Business Class. There are 100% real aircraft seats, overhead compartments and trolleys, etc. There is also a counter equipped with the SABRE reservation system outside the training cabin, with the aim to enable students studying airline services or hospitality related programmes to familiarise with the functions of the airline computer reservation system.

The setting and decoration of the Food and Beverage Training Centre is reference designed with the western restaurant of star-rated hotels. Students can familiarise with the environment and operation of a general western restaurant who take programmes related to tourism and hospitality. The general cooking courses operated by other institutes only focus on training students' cooking knowledge and skills, but the hospitality programmes provided by HKCT are designed to train students with a holistic knowledge. For example, how to operate a Western restaurants, bartending and cooking by themselves. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of the latest professional culinary and cooking tools, such as slow-cooking stove and food waste disposer. Apart from the kitchen, the centre included a beverage bar for bartending practice and kitchen for Western-style culinary training.

Students studying western culinary or hospitality related programmes in HKCT do not only study kitchen-related work, also banquet and catering services, including menu design, table preparation, dish delivery, and ordering. Therefore, the restaurant is attached with the kitchen and beverage bar, so as to enable students to learn the entire environment and familiarise the operation of the general western restaurant.

The lab is equipped with hotel-grade kitchen equipment and is mainly for preparing hot dishes. In addition to teaching cooking techniques from basic to advanced level, the teaching team will also guide students to unleash their creativity by utilizing the professional equipment, i.e., blast chiller and combi oven to make amazing and creative dishes, such as modern Southeast Asian and various fusion cuisine.

An integrated kitchen offering cooking, desserts and baking, coffee and beverage learning. The special room is equipped with the commercial and professional kitchen facilities, for examples, combi oven, sous vide machine, vacuum sealer, espresso machine which can produce hotel-level desserts and specialty coffees. In addition to cooking skills, students will also learn catering management and operations. The venue is also suitable for holding various types of culinary or beverage-making competitions.

A professional-level coffee training centre, students can exercise coffee making skills with expert equipment.

This is a multi-functional and full-mirror spacious studio that is for sports related activities. Beside this Dance & Fitness Studio, HKCT has dedicated resources to build different indoor and outdoor sports facilities, such as a fitness room that houses professional fitness training equipment and a standard basketball court, in order to allow students taking sports-related programmes. Student can improve their personal athleticism and become professional fitness coaches. These recreation and sports facilities are also open to HKCT students in general to encourage them to maintain physical and mental health and strengthen students' sense of belonging to the institute.

"K" in K Square means "Kids/Kindergartens". This is a simulation education centre for training kindergarten teachers. It is committed to promoting quality early childhood teaching skills and concepts, and focuses on three areas of continuous development, including professional courses, kindergarten training and institutional cooperation. K Square is equipped with different tools like moving desk and chair, sink, sensory wall of touch, sounds and sights, little kitchen, musical instrument, baby toys and coloring tools.

Creativity Studio requires enough mental and physical space to be fully realised, a spacious room for students to discuss, brainstorm, and pursue creative activities. It is equipped with 3D printers, large-scale printing machines with modular setting. When necessary, it will open 24 hours for student, the space can be separated into individual studios for each final year student. So they can stay at their own creative space and focus on their masterpiece before graduation.

With advance computers and provision of printing services, high speed networks and professional softwares, such as 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Creative Suite, Digital Creation Lab is a professional room for students who study in related media programmes to brainstorm, discuss and work on their own projects.

Dubbing and mixing are common post-production editing in movies and television production. This Audio Dubbing Studio equipped with various mixing and recording equipment, soundproofing room, and Audio Pro software that are commonly used in the industry. It allows students to practice and produce narration, sound mixing and multi-channel recording during their study.

This is a high-definition video production and recording plant with a control room. It adopts a tapeless full HD video camera, which can provide high-definition signals for live TV broadcast and rebroadcast through industry-standard HD-SDI. Students can do a variety of programme production practice, make use of chroma key technology via the blue or green background for adding special effects in post-production stage. Besides, the control room included a set of Sound Mixer. Students can learn sound mixing and editing while recording and post-production. This studio is comparable to the local TV stations. 

The Studio is equipped with professional studio equipment including: Nikon SLR camera, 4"x5" large view – camera, 120 medium camera, Sony NEX & Panasonic video recorder, lightings, camera flash light, softbox, shoot – through camera, Tungsten – Light for video recording, 9ft x 4ft background frame and tripod, etc.

This Laboratory is equipped with an audiovisual recording system and multiple cameras for hybrid learning and teaching support. The live streaming and recording of practical work sessions could facilitate class discussion and enhance both learning and teaching effectiveness.

Beauty Practical Room consists of 10 beauty beds, beauty carts, magnifier work lights, skincare products and aromatherapy oil etc. for students to practise the skills of body massage and facial treatment.

Nail Art Practical Room is equipped with a nail art table, nail art desk lamp, UV/LED nail curing lamp, polisher and air brush etc. for students to practice the skills of nail art.

The Engineering & Construction Laboratory is available for engineering and construction students to conduct a variety of experiments and tests. It provides equipment for material testing, structural analysis, energy efficiency evaluation, and more. Students can explore new construction design methods and concepts using different materials and technologies, and evaluate the feasibility and performance.

Student Centre is a desirable gathering venue for students to enjoy their leisure time inside campus. It provides a cozy environment with pleasant interactive atmosphere via different facilities and tools, for instances, board games, musical instruments, up-to-date leisure and trendy magazines, and a dart board, for students to enjoy their breaks and interact with classmates. Students can also get contact with or seek individual consultation anytime from DSD (Department of Student Development) team. They are composed of professional social workers or counselors stationing in the Centre. Unlike other institutes, the Student Centre of HKCT adopts semi-open design so that staff is more accessible towards student. Through direct contact opportunities, the staff can understand students' needs and build trust more easily. In order to facilitate students' holistic development, DSD team focus on three work areas for students, namely, "Career Development", "Mental Health and Personal Development" and "Leadership Training", via provision of appropriate activities and services.

Learning Commons is an extension part of the Academic Pavilion. It provides a creative learning space for student, encourage interactions and learning among students and teachers with the e-resources accessible through the provision of free WiFi here.

Language Centre (LC) provides a cozy environment with its state-of-the-art design and a wealth of language resources where students can immerse in learning language outside the classroom. The facilities include Theatre, Chat Café, Individual Studio, Workshop world and Treasure Island.
Theatre: The grand Theatre is an ideal place for watching movies individually or with a group of students.
Chat Café: The decently furnished Chat Café, located in the centre of LC, is a signature area where students enjoy sipping a cup of coffee while chatting with our native speakers on daily-life topics.
Individual Studio: Our 4 Individual Studios namely London, Paris, Seoul and Tokyo are enclosed areas for students to practise listening and speaking skills with confidence.
Workshop World: Interactive workshops on various themes, such as International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and IELTS tactics are held in the stylish honeycomb-designed Workshop World.
Treasure Island: A vast array of language resources ranging from dictionaries, readers to movies can be found in Treasure Island, students can also hunt for “Today's Pick”, i.e., the recommended books and videos.

Academic Pavilion emphasising creativity in the design for the provision of book lending services and study purposes. Different facilities are provided such as self-study carrels, group discussion rooms, display corner and outside reading area, as well as numerous computer workstations that are made available for students to learn and access to abundant information from the Internet and electronic resources in a relaxing atmosphere. Students can freely enjoy academic exchanges and discussions here.

Auditorium is a venue where different large-scale events are held in HKCT, capacity is over 150 people. For instance, examinations, symposiums, school commencement and graduation ceremonies. Moreover, indoor sports activities such as badminton and table tennis can be held.

The Lecture Theatre is equipped with cutting-edge video conference facilities and audio equipment, participants or students' responses can be heard without any hand-held or wireless microphones. Academic exchanges and discussions with foreign scholars over 100 participants via video conferences can be held here.

The Chinese medicine cabinet with various Chinese herbal medicines in our practice room provides hands-on exercises for our students in Chinese medicine health care courses.

Our training room is well equipped with simulation equipment for security, such as fire detection system, anti-theft system, building power supply system, patrol system and walkie-talkie, to let our students in property management and security courses master the actual working environment.

By simulating the household environment with cooking utensils, students taking our home service courses can practice the sequences and skills of household cleaning and housekeeping.

Our workshop is well equipped with various baking utensils and equipment to provide our students in bakery and pastry courses with practical training on making cakes, tarts, cookies, cheesecakes, puffs, pancakes and desserts.
