HKCT boasts a team of skilled coaches and tutors dedicated to promoting the importance of health and fitness among the residents of Ma On Shan. Additionally, given Ma On Shan's proximity to the coastline, we are excited to incorporate a scenic route into our course, allowing participants to explore the beauty of the nearby area.

Through proper running posture, personal fitness training, 5KM running training, and group training, you will enhance your athletic abilities, improve your fitness, and enjoy teamwork fun. Programme Features

  • Train by professional and qualified running coaches
  • Provide a preliminary body assessment with Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Teach stretching methods and enhance muscle strength, core strength, endurance, and flexibility for improved overall fitness and sports performance
  • Learn basic running techniques, eg: proper body alignment, foot strike rhythm, and breathing techniques
  • Prepare and complete a 5-kilometer run with a professional training plan covering techniques, speed control, and progression
  • Venue is at the HKCT playground and Ma On Shan Promenade, the tuition fee includes students’ basic venue insurance

4 Lessons

Entry Requirements
Age: 18-64 years old
Health requirements: No history of the "Three Highs" (hypertension, hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia), no previous muscle or joint-related surgeries
Cardiac conditions: No history of heart disease or cardiac-related surgeries
A health declaration certificate may be required if necessary.

Students who successfully complete the course with an attendance rate of 80% or above will be awarded a completion certificate issued by the Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT).


It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognise any qualification to which this course may lead.
Tuition fees and subsidies are to be reviewed and adjusted annually on various factors.
