Diploma in Professional Studies (Electrical)

Introduction
Diploma in Professional Studies (Electrical) - This is a one-year part-time programme providing the foundation for further study to the degree level in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
This programme provides the foundation for further study in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. 
 
Professional Qualification

This programme has been accredited by Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers (HKIIE).

Contents
This is a one-year part-time programme providing the foundation for further study to the degree level in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. 
 
Programme Features
  • Articulation Pathway: students who have completed this programme and fulfilled designated requirements will be eligible to apply for the Higher Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering offered by HKCT
  • Significantly Shorter Duration: compared with other programmes in the market, this course attained a valuable diploma qualification in a shorter timeframe without compromising on educational standards
  • Streamlined Schedule: with only two classes per week, can be seamlessly integrated into your existing professional and personal obligations

  • Applicants should have completed Form 5 with a pass in Mathematics; or
  • Applicants should be holders of Certificate in Electrical, Electronics or Building Services related discipline; or
  • Mature entrants with relevant working experience.

  • Applicants who have completed the application procedure for September intake on or before 31 July 2024 are eligible to benefit from HK$800 tuition fee reduction that will be deducted from the final instalment of the tuition payment. 

*Remark: In the event of any dispute, the decision of HKCT shall be final.
